Until this shipped there was nothing on this domain a stranger could read. The apex was a welcome page, and the only other app redirected anonymous visitors straight into a login screen. Arrive without an account and you got one paragraph and a wall.
So: apps/blog, deployed to blog.actuallyfrank.io. Public — no gate, no
redirect, nothing to sign up for.
Posts are MDX files committed to the repository. An index at /, a post at
/<slug>. Frontmatter carries the title, date, summary and a draft flag, and a
draft is invisible in both directions: absent from the index and unreachable
at its own URL. Half a draft rule is not a draft rule.
Code blocks are highlighted at build time, so syntax colouring costs the reader no JavaScript at all.
No tags, no search, no comments. Those need a corpus to be worth navigating, and on day one there was one post.
